Mountain rescuers are rising a reserve debate to cut the number of avoidable call-outs from people removing in to difficulty on Snowdon.
There were 411 calls for assistance from towering walkers and climbers final year on Wales’ greatest mountain.
Research showed a number were avoidable and these have been mostly attributed to young, ill-prepared men.
A reserve debate will be launched after on Monday, together with a smartphone application.
Called the Mountain Info Service, it is free to download and billed as “essential formulation collection for towering walkers” with continue information, dilettante recommendation and video clips.
It comes after a apart information use regulating Twitter was launched in Dec giving continue recommendation and on foot information.

As well as the smartphone app, the reserve debate also includes:
A daily Met Office report by the inhabitant park’s wardens on belligerent conditions and sleet levels on the mountains, together with recommendation on the skills and apparatus required.
